I keep saying the same thing over and over, YES climate change, water shortages, food shortages and LITERALLY every problem we face is all caused by one problem or completely out of control population growth. If we simply decreased our population by a third all of these problems will go away in a couple generations.

I AGREE there is a problem with water, but saying okay dont eat meat and such, it wont solve the problem. Cows drink water, plants use up water, yes. BUT this water 99% come back into nature, plants bring water back into nature, as do animals. So saying meat is the problem doesn't cut it, but there IS a problem

There's about a billion of people on the planet right now who can afford to buy a small personal water desalination device that desalinates 200 litres of water per hour! If this would occur - these people would be literally producing more than enough water for the entire human consumption on Earth (including 4 industrial use). Water crisis it is only if we let it to beget one.

When Cape Town was reeling under water scarcity, it rained that shows that nature has solutions for every problem. Rain water harvesting is one such method which will help 1. Recharge ground water 2. Supply our daily need 3. Avoid cities being flooded 4. Not allow the sea to rise 5. Last but not the least check land subsidence. Please put up another video about rain water harvesting and its success. 👍

I dont know where this anti-meat agenda came from. Like yes, cows are taking up a lot of water, but most of the water comes from what they eat, and what they eat is usually grass or other non-edible-for-human foods. We dont have less water or foods because of them.

So, if you're a young person with an eye towards the future, the giant farmlands in California will revert to desert-lands, the outright volume of foodstuffs grown will dwindle to a fraction of what it once was...at the same time where world populations will be double of what they are now. The whole of southern California populations will be migrating by the millions away from the state, slowly at first as we're seeing now, but later at an increasing rate. Temperatures in these regions will be fatally hot more & more often, the entire region will resemble Death Valley. Microscopic plastic pollution will decimate fisheries & all lifeforms in the oceans also at the point of doubling populations. No water, no food....the "Population Bomb" scenario was right, we just didn't listen.

What these green "whistle-blowers" forgot to mention is that water shortage is physically impossible. Water does not dissappear after being consumed, it goes through the cycle of ground water, rain or manual filtration, finally returning to its source to be consumed again and so on. Draughts are nothing new, less developed countries than South Africa suffered from them and survived. So, yes, conserving water is important but this is just another unhinged green paranoid video that avoids showing the full picture.

I’ve always wished that if I was super rich I would try to get a research team to find ways to make undrinkable water drinkable and efficiently. Whether that’s by creating a giant artificial lake by using ocean water and efficiently extracting the salt and disposing it eg in space or teaming up with nasa/Elon musk and advancing space travel to get fresh water from other planets. Like I said I’d do this if I was super rich as this process would cost billions if not almost a couple of trillion pounds.

What if they make a giant water filter stuff in the ocean the one that turn salty water to fresh water in the ocean And the fresh water goes to a pipe for water supply. But a filter that also makes dirty water to clean water. Also, I have a question if a normal water filter can filter dirty stuff out of the water, can it do it the same to salty water? Please answer somebody, thank you.
